Roles and functions of the Presidential Special Advisors
The establishment of Presidential Special Advisors aims to provide strategic input in executing the President’s duties, especially in areas requiring specific attention that cannot be directly managed by other ministries or institutions.
The primary responsibility of these Special Advisors is to assist the President in addressing strategic issues in key fields such as politics, economics, technology, health, and national security.
Unlike ministry officials who are bound by bureaucratic regulations, Special Advisors have more flexibility in advising the President. This enables them to offer quicker and more precise input in response to national and global developments.
In the context of rapidly changing global dynamics, the role of Special Advisors becomes even more critical. They are tasked with providing strategic perspectives that are expected to help the President tackle both national and international challenges.
Prabowo Subianto expressed hope that the input from these advisors would contribute to a more effective decision-making process and allow the government to be more responsive to current situations. "With quick and accurate input, we can address national issues more effectively," Prabowo said.
In addition, the strategic advice from these Presidential Special Advisors is expected to serve as a crucial foundation in formulating adaptive policies to meet the new challenges faced by the country, whether in the fields of economy, security, or health.
The importance of Presidential Special Advisors in facing global challenges
As global challenges become increasingly complex, the role of Special Advisors is growing more vital. They are expected to offer relevant perspectives, whether in times of crisis or during other strategic decision-making processes.
The Special Advisors are also responsible for ensuring that the government's policies align with the latest conditions, both nationally and globally.
With their diverse backgrounds and extensive experience in various fields, these Special Advisors are expected to act as the front line in providing strategic advice to an effective and responsive government.
Although these Special Advisors do not have direct authority like ministers, they are believed to significantly contribute to more effective and efficient decision-making by the President.
